The Time Has Come...
One last hoorah with the paci.
First they decorated paper sacks to put the pacifiers inside.
Then, we walked to the mailbox.
Laney & Lucy gave their paci to the "mail man", so he could deliver them to the little babies, since they are big girls now.
The mail man was bringing them something in return... I guess they thought it was going to be right then.
Giving up the pacifiers went really good. I was a little scared at the first naptime and bedtime. But, the "mail man"(a.k.a. Mommy & Daddy) brought them some "click-click" shoes and a mop. (Don't ask me why, that's just what they kept saying they wanted.) That very first night at bedtime, they did ask for their paci, but Kyle and I reminded them about the their new shoes and mop. Once we did that, they were fine. Except for the one time Lucy said "Don't like the click-clicks and mop." But, there was no crying or being upset. What a relief! The only thing is now at naptime and bedtime, they can't stop talking! It's nonstop! Bedtime & naptime have been coming much later than usual.
What a cute idea! Such the teacher :-)
